Conjugal partner

A conjugal partner would be someone who is not legally married to you or in a common-law relationship with you. He/she can be of either gender and should be at least 18 years old. He or she should be in a relationship with you for at least 1 year and must be living outside Canada.

Other conditions state that a conjugal partner is someone who can’t live with you in their residential country or can’t marry you due to legal and immigration reasons like their marital status, gender orientation or religious persecution.

In case your better-half is your conjugal partner, you’ll be required to submit proof that you were unable to live together or get married in your conjugal partner’s country.

3. Application Process
